The Question: In 2018, the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge claimed the world record for what?
A Highest bungee jump
B Thinnest glass used
C Most panes of glass
When it opened in 2016, the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge was the longest glass-bottomed bridge in the world. Two years later, it added a bungee jump off the side of the bridge featuring an 853-foot drop. That made it the highest commercial bungee jump in the world at the time (it was bested a year later by a jump off China’s Baling River Bridge, which is more than 1,214 feet high).
Here at Zhangjiajie, if you don’t feel like taking the plunge, a bungee-themed bar at the end of the bridge offers prime viewing of other daredevils giving it a try. Want to see them in action right now? Bombs away!
The correct answer is Highest bungee jump.
